Builders cleaning: common questions

What is a builders clean?

A builders clean removes the dust, debris, overspray, stickers and residue left by construction trades. It is usually done in stages: a first-fix or rough clean during the build, then a sparkle or final clean before handover.

What is the difference between a builders clean and a sparkle clean?

A builders clean deals with heavy construction dust, paint and plaster overspray so following trades can work. A sparkle clean is the detailed, high-spec final clean. We polish glazing, sanitaryware, kitchens and fittings so the building is ready for client or buyer handover.

What insurance do you hold?

We hold Employers' Liability cover of £10,000,000 any one claim, Public Liability of £5,000,000 any one occurrence and Products Liability of £5,000,000 in the aggregate, placed through Cedar Underwriting with Lloyd's insurers. Current certificates are available on request.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover all of London and the whole of the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Lincoln, Stoke-on-Trent and Worcester, managed from our office in Market Harborough.
